Year end showcase info

As the year end show approaches it's time for some details!

The last day of regular classes will be Wednesday, May 31st.

Here is the call schedule for the Community Hall:

Thursday 9pm: I need 3 helpers to roll out the floor please.

Friday, June 2nd  2:00-4:30 set up...helpers, lots! appreciated....set up seats, etc...also, I need some Japanese curtains....anyone have any?

Friday June 2nd 4:30-8:00 All poets, senior dancers and soloists and duetists required. No one else please. ALL quick costume changes will be rehearsed, so bring them. No make up please.

Saturday June 3rd 10:30am call time for EVERYONE (including poets) for run through and curtain call rehearsal. Arrive in full make up/hair 

-Ballet girls in a high/tight bun, light blue shadow, top and bottom lid eye liner with a tail....the older the dancer, the longer the tail!) false lashes optional. 

-Taylor's dancers, she will give you printed instructions for hair/make up very soon.

-Bring a water bottle and non-messy snack. And a book.

-Parents please drop off kids and go 😉

Saturday June 3rd 1:30 show. The show will end at 2:45 and the building will be locked.

 

Saturday June 3rd 5:15 call for a 6:00 show. Arrive in full hair/make up.

Sunday June 4th 12:00 call in full make up/hair. 12:15 full group  photo. Please bring your own camera! 12:30-12:45 individual pictures as desired...no official photos this year.

Take down help is most welcome Sunday 3:00-4:00

MAKE UP/HAIR

Dancers in the first half will have their ballet make up (Blue shadow, Eyeliner on both lids creating a tail, fake lashes preferable. Red lip stain. Hair in a high bun. At intermission, girls in Taylor's dances are asked to do as follows:

- Brown eye shadow , black eyeliner, blush, fake eylashes and red lipstain. 

Hair for all will be fairly simple changes: 

-Another One Bites the Dust - Hair in high pony back combed , boys gel spiked

-Born this way- High pony , slicked 

-Someone who can dance- slicked pony 

-crayola- half up half down pony (Ballet Make up...Blue Shadow, etc...as they are in the first half)

-Medicine- angels and Brooke and Jacklin in low buns ( no part) annelise and izzy half up half down( possibly they have to try to chair rolls with hair like that) 

-Gold- high pony, slicked 

....and as far as festival pieces (Solos and Duets) ill talk to the girls but we will keep it simple either bun or pony 

Sorry but I have to cancel a few upcoming classes: Tuesday March 7th Pilates, Tuesday March 7th and Thursday March 9th essentials. Make up for Pilates on Tuesday March 21st.
Also....Friday the 3rd. Pilates is ON



New Pilates session Starts April 3rd-June 20
As always, group classes are $13 each for the first weekly class and $12 for a second day, $11 for the 3 class, etc....
Private training available at the gym, home studio or your home.

Monday 9am beginner
Monday 10am intermediate
Tuesday 7pm all levels at the fitness centre
Thursday 7pm Bootcamp at fitness centre Mar 30-June 1 (no class Apr 6/May 4h)
Friday 9am advanced

Please note that classes will not run on Fridays April 7/21 and May 5.
Friday session is $117
All other days are $156

Miss Taylor is sick today :( so classes are cancelled 🤢

Jan 18th Update:
-Wednesday am Pilates is not going to run
-Pre school dance is not running on January 19th
-Bootcamp will begin on Jan 26th (no class Jan 19th)
